Are you a licensed business?

Yes! Valou Moments is a registered and insured business. We are committed to operating professionally and responsibly, and we’re proud to provide luxury picnic experiences with the highest level of care and integrity.

 
Do you provide the food?

At this time, all guests are required to bring their own food and beverages. We currently operate on a BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) and BYOB basis. However, we are in the process of obtaining the necessary licensing to offer in-house catering services very soon!

How long does each picnic last?

Each package includes various hours of enjoyment and relaxation starting at 2 hours all the way to 4 hours. The time is detailed in every service description and it depends on group size mostly. Additional time can be added for a small fee (based on availability).

Where can the picnic be set up?

We offer a curated list of approved locations, including parks and beaches all around Fort Lauderdale. You may also host your picnic at your home or private venue. If your chosen location requires permits, we will handle it and any incurred cost will be invoiced in the final cost.​

What happens if it rains during my event? 

We closely monitor weather conditions leading up to your event and will be in communication with you if there are signs of bad weather. If forecasts predict poor conditions, we will strongly advise rescheduling or moving the picnic indoors.

  • If you choose to move forward despite our recommendation and the event is interrupted by rain or other weather-related issues, no refund will be issued.

  • However, if the weather changes unexpectedly on what was forecasted as a clear day, we will apply a “shared loss” policy, offering a 50% refund or credit toward a future event.

  • If you choose to reschedule in advance based on our guidance, we are happy to do so at no extra charge.
